Holly Now! Customer Training Simplified

I have often wondered what inspires creative people to keep on creating even if some people don’t appreciate their offering or others never even see it. I know for me, it is a burning desire to share what I know to be true and wrap it up with a bow in a fun and interesting way. Once I complete one project, I am on to the next. always pushing myself to design the message in a way that will be of benefit to the end user, reader or audience member.

Over the years, I have written many things, but one message keeps coming back to the surface—the Neon Signs of Service, Spirit In Service, and now Customer Connection Training/HOLLY NOW! The message stays at the forefront because it is truly “hammer on the nail” and I have always felt I was gifted it. I wrote the original Neon Signs of Service while still a hotel concierge, so the genesis was based in a day-to-day understanding of the agony and the ecstasy of front-line customer service. Because it is about perception, awareness, discernment and right action, the message is evergreen and not based on any current technology or specific industry trends.

I have delivered this message around the world and always get the same response, especially from more jaded service professionals.

“I have been to many seminars about customer service but this is the best one I have ever attended.” Or this one…

“I was really skeptical coming in and was dreading spending hours in a classroom, but you made it so interesting and relevant I loved it.”

I have also been delighted by the response of young attendees expressing appreciation for the “mentorship” and “authenticity.”

For the past twenty years, I have often dreamed about being able to deliver this message to people who would normally never be able to hear it and benefit from it because bringing me in “live” would not be economically viable.

I have tried to bottle my energy, love and passion in the past, however since it was done in a studio, we didn’t capture it. After much trial and error, I FINALLY did it!!!

We filmed a “live” class, edited it to 6 modules and created 3 workbooks for each module so that people could go through the material with a detailed self-study guide. Or a manager could deliver the class aided by a leader guide and the videos accompanying each module, while the participants use a workbook to engage in activities and take notes.

Check out HOLLYNOW! It’s an online scenario-based hospitality training that can transform everyone on your staff into a skilled Customer Smile-Maker.

Leaving a legacy is such a powerful idea. Having something of value to share, being willing to work hard to package it in a way that is easy and affordable, and now doing the real work of letting people know about it, all leads back to that all important philosophy
